Swami Maheshvaranand Ji - Biography

Swami Maheshvaranand Ji is a disciple of Jagadguruttam Shri Kripaluji Maharaj, a greatly respected and renowned Spiritual Master from India, and only the fifth original Jagadguru in the last 5,000 years. The other four original Jagadgurus were, Adi Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Nimbarkacharya, Jagadguru Ramanujacharya and Jagadguru Madhavacharya.

Swami Maheshvaranand Ji comes from a long line of revered Pandits. Swami Ji himself studied Panditai from a very young age. Swami Ji held several jobs: as an engineering technician in the steel industry, teacher at a high school etc. In the year 1988 Swami Ji started studying Sanskrit at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi India.

During the Sadhana Program of October 1988 in Shri Kripalu Dham Pratapgarh India, Swami Maheshvaranand had the great fortune of meeting Jagadguruttam Shri Kripaluji Maharaj, and accepted Him as his Spiritual Master. With the guidance and divine grace of his Spiritual Master, Swami Ji studied the deepest aspects of the Vedic Bhartiya philosophy described in the sacred Sanskrit scriptures (Vedas, Puranas, Shastras, Gita, Upanishads, Mahabharat etc.).

Swami Ji speeches awaken a deep sense of spiritual contentment and inspire a positive faith for the attainment of true everlasting happiness. His lectures and meditation programs are a revelation of the secrets of God-realization. Anyone can benefit by applying these practical teachings and spiritual principles to daily life.
