The Festival of Holi is also called the Festival of Colors. It's a joyous festival marking the end of winter and the beginning of the spring season. In India, it's usually celebrated on the full moon day. The celebrations are always full of joy. The Hindus, forgetting all social taboos for a while, are joyfully playing by throwing colorful powder or pouring water on each other. Everywhere, clouds of different colors can be seen as everyone is dancing, singing and playing by throwing colored powder in the air. The romantic atmosphere of this holiday is also linked to the love of Radha and Krishna.
